Who Can Use the ULCER X Liners?
When used underneath the ULCER X Wound Healing Kit, the ULCER X liners can be used to treat active ulceration of the legs or other severe venous conditions by reducing wound swelling and encouraging blood flow. Their simple design means they can be applied and removed by the patient without any professional assistance, making them ideal for home use.
Indications
When used in combination with the ULCER X Wound Healing Kit, the ULCER X Liners are suitable for treating the following conditions:
- Severe venous conditions
- Chronic oedema
- Active venous ulcers on the leg
- Preventing the return of ulcers
What Makes the ULCER X Liners So Effective?
- Cotton blend liners protects open leg wounds from infection and damage
- Provide 15 - 20mmHg compression to prevent swelling and encourage blood flow
- Easy-to-apply design can be applied and removed by patient without assistance
- Made to be soft against the skin for maximum comfort and protection

How Does the ULCER X Liners Work?
These liners acts like a bandage, shielding the injury from damage and infection, while simultaneously applying pressure to increase blood flow to and from the leg. When used alongside the ULCER X Stocking, this combined treatment can combat swelling and fluid build-up while hastening the healing process.
How Comfortable Are These Liners?
Wound dressings and compression garments often need to be worn for long periods during treatment, so comfort is of utmost importance. Made with this in mind, the ULCER X liners feature a blend of cotton and elastane so feel soft against the skin and allow you to retain flexibility in your foot and ankle.
How Easy Are These Liners to Put On?
These liners were made to be used by patients without the need of any external help. They can therefore be slid on and off much like compression stockings, making them a convenient alternative to traditional wound dressings. Due to their patented design, application and removal should not disturb the injury when used correctly.
How Much Compression Do These Liners Offer?
Alone, these liners provide 15 - 20mmHg of pressure, which is a light-to-moderate level of compression and may not be suitable for treating severe conditions. When worn in combination with the ULCER X Stocking however, they can offer 34 - 46mmHg of compression, which is suitable for addressing more severe conditions like chronic oedema.
Can I Wear These Liners At Night?
As these liners fit tightly against the skin, they stay securely in place throughout the day and night so your wound is properly protected at all times. You should therefore be able to wear it them to bed without experiencing any slippage or discomfort.
Are The ULCER X Liners Reusable?
These liners are reusable but should be replaced once they become overly worn or damaged. To improve your liners' longevity, wash them once a day by placing them in a laundry bag, then in a delicate machine wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C.
What Materials Are These Liners Made From?
- Polyamide (62%)
- Elastane (26%)
- Cotton (12%)
