- Measure your calf at its thickest part.
- Measure the distance from the bend of your knee to the bottom of your heel behind your leg.

TED stockings are the only anti-embolism stockings which have been clinically proven to reduce the risk of thromboembolic disease, where blood clots (which most commonly form in the leg) break free. From there they can travel to the lungs where they obstruct the pulmonary arteries, restricting blood flow.
